(A very big day, yet disappointed ending)
Early in the morning, met Xiang Rong to go Khatib camp to take our IPPT test.. Well Xiang Rong's 2nd attempt as he failed once... The haze was very high 4 today too... 1st 1 is shuttle run, my past record 9.4, now becomes 9.9... 2nd is sit-up... still same, 40 cuz its gold standard already.. originally is 60+ in 1 min... but now, 30 sit-ups n i'm grasping myself 4 the last 10 to safety....Nxt standing board jump, my most favourite 1... past 252, now 239 only -.-! Ah defeated now... past 8 chin-ups, now only 5... i failed by 1 chin up-.-! no mood to run 2.4... + the haze is too strong n my breath is very hot n throat not feeling very well... Endedd up i didn't run, but Xiang Rong passed the IPPT 2day....
Went back sp to have breakfast wif him at the 24hr prata shop... Then we headed to arcade play a while of XI.. I win him a lot n my form is gd =) Nb was there n i played 02 wif him.. lol he now oso coward playing style... lost to him a few rds, but win back until he stop... Then i go back home to play dota awhile, b4 heading to sp arcade to meet kit, duck n nel.. Yes, we r heading towards our impt tournament, on behalf of Sem..
Reached there, we waited very long, so played a few games here & there. Wa.. the opponents r strong... I saw my friends there too.. even the most powerful players r there -.-! the tournament is going to be a tough 1 indeed....During the wait, asked Ns to warmup, he dun dare -.-! cuz the players r too strong.. The wait n the wait.... Really make the nervous out of me.. Heart thumping heavily, hands break into cold sweat, can't even stand still... FInally the tournament starts at 7pm +... The tournament consist of 32 ppl... they were randomed... 2 machines r there, wif a big screen in the centre, n 3 small tvs lining upwards, on the left n the rite... The place was really too crowded... each opponent plays 3 rds.. lose 2 rd = out... We r very lucky tat we dun get to meet each other in the game.... Duck is our first friend, to go fight his 1st opponent.. Lol b4 the game starts, the judges ask them secretly wat the characters they will be using, so as the opponents won't be waiting 4 each other to choose, b4 using other characters to counter each other... Surprisingly, duck's 1st match was a mirror match... same characters n oso same position. Duck, kula, gato...
1st rd starts... we can see duck was so nervous, tat his form was off... he lost the 1st rd... 2nd rd, he fight but he starts to gain back... At 1st we thought he's going to be out in the 1st rd... but ended up he win back the last 2 rd n proceed to the top 16.... Ns is our most worries... but lucky 4 him, his opponent isn' tat strong... but he still can lose the 1st rd too -.-! but i think is becuz he's too nervous... THen he change his char to malin i think...then win back the last 2 rd, n proceed to the top 16 too... wa... all proceed to top 16, n my match is the last few...More stress will be added on me... if i lost in the 1st match, super disgrace to myself, cuz i played kof much longer than them..Very grateful to JQ, KW, Yingming n his friend, 4 coming specially down to giv us our support 4 Sem =) Finally my 1st match starts.. my opponent's name is Chin Chu Bin.. He uses... The secret characters -.-! Gai, Jyazu n Adel -.-! i was so scared.. cuz i'm afraid of jyazu..Luckily, i manage to handle my nervous n execute my eiji, 1st character well enough n win his 1st 2 char... my win was straight.. 2 wins n i proceed to top 16 =)
Duck's 2nd match starts... his 2nd match opponent was too easy... he proceed 2 wins to top 8.. Nelson met a tough opponent in 2nd match n was thrashed 2 straight lose n out of top 16... 1 of our friend down, n we were so disappointed.. we werew scolding him, when he didn't use gato, but put oswald in his game-.-! Finally my 2nd match starts... Opponent was Louis Lee... He uses duck's team -.-! duck, kula, gato... same position as duck... i was quite nervous, but he's not gd in fighting my eiji...Lol i win straight 2 rd to proceed top 8... Each win in this match, i executed the superb finishing move combo wif kula, switched to gato n ended in LDM... The cheers i received from the crowded... happy =)

Gd things dun last long... Duck met my another friend, raymond... Duck is going to have a toughest match in top 8.. Our hope to enter top 4...chance to win $$, chance 4 fame in XI, chance to be recognised, chance to enter the big screen n our matches will be recorded.... Duck lost painfully in his 1st rd against my friend... he's too strong 4 duck.. but luckily duck won back the 2nd rd dangerously... However, his fate was sealed in the 3rd round... he ganna my friend's main special combo cum stun (favourite dish) maxima, link clark, link maxima = STUN.. Then ask clark to come out do LDM n ducks fate was over... he lost to my friend... Then left me alone... Basket the judges ask me 4 my char... Then when he ask my opponent 4 his char when he was standng, he saw my char n i can see he was thinking who to use, to counter me...basket lo... ended up he chooses kula, gato n duck.. but he put kula 1st... i lost 2 straight rds... my combos starts to fumble... 2nd rd, i'm allow to change char, but i didn't -.-! cuz i believe myy eiji won't failed me, but ended up, my judgement is wrong...Superbly wrong... i shld have picked jyazu instead... lost to tat smelly camper -.-! haiz, sem representative comes to the end in the top 8 position...T-T... my wish was gone...even until not, the setback i received, stilll lingers in me, can even feel my body shaking n shivers at times, whenever i though abt it... THough to console myself, lance the pro, lost inthe 1st match, due to a smelly camper, he's situation or feeling will be worst than me... Top 8 is the 1st time we ever hit so far... But, i still felt disappointed in myself.. This is the feeling which i wanted... It not like any other normal arcaed games where so many ppl r playing.. the machines r seperated, n lots of audience r there just to watch me play... nobody is by our side, n the atmosphere is very tense n nervous... BUt at such stress level, climbing to top 8 is marvelous indeed... Our supporters r still happy 4 us...
Suffering from our defeats, we headed to burger king to have our dinner n headed to ps from bugis, to play a while b4 returning home.... Wat a BIG DAY 4 me, n yet DISAPPOINTING ending in the nite... I'll always rmb this day in my heart...
