Memories for 12th March 2007 (Mon) :
Its a beginning of a new week once again^^ Oh didn't really know tat its the March Sch holidays for the students, until Jeslyn (Know her when i was working part-time in Msh) told me abt tat. Hereby wish all students happy 1 week break, enjoy ur life, but dun 4get ur sch works ^^. However, adults who r working, its just another normal week, thus patiently count the days for weekends to arrive again =)
Hmm summarise today's activity.. Well early in the morning, didn't happen much. Using the com for updating my stuffs, msn games wif Jbear doesn't turn out smooth, Played audition only a short while. Try out the moves taught by Clare, but still couldn't work.. Wonder how she does all the somersault -.-! Can any1 teach me? the moves r great.. Hmm my hp is very quiet the whole of today..
Afternoon when out to mac to study, n Finally found Jbear to company me watch movie. Supposed to watch music n lyrics, but cuz Soon Yong n his gf, (poor thing) couldn't watch "300" (M18) as his gf is still underage =( THus we switch to "300" to company Soon Yong instead. He n his gf goes specially to Marina Square n come back sp to try, but to no valid. Actually i advise him to ask some1 of acceptable age to help him, but he doesn't 1..
Cuz after studying, went arcade to find JBear ard 5pm + Then play til 6 + i'm starving cuz i didn't have my lunch yet. Thus thanks to Jbear's kfc coupon, which i dunno y my hse didn't receive, i get to have a lovely meal ^^ 2 piece chicken =P Met another friend of ours at arcade, n the four of us headed to cinema.. The person who checked the ticket, didn't even double checked -.-! THus Soon Yong could have tried helping his gf to buy, Too bad as humans afraid risks.
The show was great!!! I really enjoyed the movie.. The ending was touching tat i almost teared for the King of Spartan.. The movie is abt a small Kingdom, well trained warriors from young, to fight wif bravery n nv retreat nor fear.. 1 day, the tyrant feared by the whole world, i named it (Evil King). Movies always have gd or bad, some more i 4get the name of the Tyrant. The passed by Spartan Kingdom, n wants the King to kneel down b4 the Tyrant in respect.
However the Spartan King nv subcumb to the Tyrant. Thus the tyrant shall vowed to destroy the kingdom n made them nv exist... Well versed in war strategy, the Spartan King planned to fight the war at a strategic location..wif only 300 Spartan warriors..All strong n sturdy.. However the Spartan Law is against war, Nevertheless, he choose war as he knew, its unavoidable n he needs to protect his ppl..
Courageous n pride, honour n dignity, they marched to the place to fight in an enclosed area.. 300 Spartan army against 30000 or even more Tyrant's army.. Fighting in an enclosed area would mean, limiting the no of Tyrant's army tat can engaged wif the Spartans. Not only tat, along the march, The spartan King's friend bring lots of troops to his aid. The funny part was when his friend questioned y he only brought 300 ppl against tyrant's vast army.
In return, The Spartan King ask his friend, wat's his soldier's vocation.. reply was blacksmith etc.. lol But the Spartan King's 300 ppl were all trained warriors n they laugh. Rds n rds of fight begin.. 1st was normal troops of tyrant n the won the war.. The Spartan stacked the dead bodies as high as a hugh wall for defence n oso n insult to the vast army of the tyrant tat can't defeat 300 Spartans..
Nxt came rains of arrows tat filled the whole sky. The scene was magnificent, but who would luv to stand open n watch the lovely scene in the sky, wifout fear of having lots of arrows shot thru ur body?However they just shield themselves wif the strong sturdy but heavy shield of theirs n laugh as they cut off the arrows tat stuck in the shield after the rain of arrows in the sky stopped..
Nxt the tyrant King brought the myth of his troops wif no souls.. The 300 Spartan shall turn this myth to be a lie. All those masked troops of theirs perished.. However a few nos of Spartan warriors were killed this rd.. This rd of battle, The Spartan King's friend came in halfway to gif them a surprise attack.. Limbs were slashed, the scene was horrendous.. Perhaps tat's y it was rated M18.. Its much better than apocalyto.
This rd of battle, the spartan king faced a huge gigantic creature. He got his helmet a bit cut thru n have a slight injury ard his left eye area..Other rds, they brought enourmous creatures, rhinoceroes like, but was easily killed wif their Spartan's Spear rite into the eyes.. Even hugh beast like the mammoths came n all were fallen into the sea.. The Spartans were fearless even death..
When the tyrant was having a headache over his huge army not being able to win a 300 handful of Spartans, a traitor came.. he was angered tat he can't joined the war as he couldn't lift the shield during the war to a required high in the Spartan War formation.. Failure to do so, will lead to a loss in battle. However, he failed to realise tat, thinking tat the Spartan King look down on him...
This traitor lead tyrant to the weak point of their strategic location... His friend know abt it n came to warned the spartan King abt it, tat they'll be surrounded soon.. Advice him to retreat, however, the King refused.. Cuz in Spartan law, no warriors retreat n even if they do so, Spartan kingdom might end...His friend thought he's crazy n decided to leave them wif his troops..after wishing him all the best...
Not to 4get the love story inside, The Spartan King knew their fate is sealed. Thus sent a wounded soldier back to tell his ppl abt their honourable death.. The glory battles n the stories tat happened here.. How 300 Spartan troops defeated vast tyrant armies.. Not to 4get, passing something to his queen.. Finally, here comes the final battle... 2 Kings faced each other.. 300 Spartan warriors were surrounded.. Their formation was like a hard shell..
But the Spartan King was standing sturdly facing the tyrant.. Arrows were all pointing at them.. The tyrant last warning to the Spartan King to kneel down to n submit to him.. 1 command, he throw his spear towards the tyrant n the target was too far apart.. He only managed to injured his mouth.. Arrows came shooting down... His 300 Spartans were perished n he was wounded severely..
How the Spartan King die? He stand on his 2 feet, spread his arms apart.. TO welcome the magnificent scene of the sky.. Recall wat i describe earlier? Yes.. The sky was completely filled wif arrows... B4 he die, if i rmb, he called out to his wife.. His queen... The scene was touching... n sad... The movie ended when the only survival of Spartan warrior (The wounded 1) Went back to tell the stories...
In the end, he leaded 10000 Spartan Troops against 3 times bigger than theirs (30000) to Revenge for the 300 brave Spartan Warriors n Their King, Who died honourably.. As for the ending of th Tyrant king? The movie didn't show. However i think the movie left us for some thoughts.. WHich is even 300 troops can fight vast outnumbered enemies.. y can't 10000 troops win 3 times big than theirs? Who won the battle in the end? its predictable. GREAT MOVIE!!
After movie, went back kof awhile, b4 heading to mac to study till 12am n i call it a day ^^. Ok tired of writing so much.. Tat's all my readers..Enjoy the review...Sry no pics.. Will do so nxt time if there's an opportunity.
